If you’re fortunate enough to be Canadian or just use the patch of our flag for safe international travels, then this item is the perfect companion to up your good luck quotient while celebrating the people & critters of The Great White North.
The Lucky Beaver is soon to be Canada’s official symbol of good luck and prosperity and a homage to the hardworking, industrious Canadian icon. Loosely inspired by the traditional Japanese beckoning cat, “Maneki Neko”, the Lucky Beaver represents all things Canadiana wearing a bib of Canadian flora (with an acorn, oak and maple leaves) and holding a teeth-whittled log carved with the not so successful bygone national greeting “Chimo”.
The first in a series of collaborations, this “Chimo” Lucky Beaver was created by award winning Canadian sculptor Nicholas Chrombach.
Each statue is individually cast by hand in resin and marble dust giving the sculpture a strong rigid exterior. The pieces were then coated with a premium grade yellow auto body paint signifying the colour of sunshine promising it’s owner financial abundance, hope, happiness and honour. Limited to an edition of 30, every sculpture is numbered and carefully packaged into a custom made maple box for protection and maximum “Good Luck” freshness.
The “Chimo” Lucky Beaver is the perfect karma caster for your home, restaurant, store or local doughnut shop.
Wishing you the very best of luck in the future!
